Similarity uses only 30-60 sec of starting audio data to comparing, it can find files in your example, but:
1) Both audio files must be longer or equal 30 sec.
2) You need to disable duration checking in Options, because this files doesn't compare if it enabled.
3) You need Premium version (only Precise algorithm can find part file in another)
4) Smaller file (~30sec) must contained in larger in first 60 sec.

Just a question as newbie:

Is Similarity able to find a duplicate if I present/load only a cut/part of the original song?

Assume the original full music track is 4min 32sec long.
In addition I have cut, partial song *.mp3 which is only 0:35 sec out of the original.

Will Similarity find the original?
