Title: Scan results not remembered
Post by: Springdream on March 30, 2011, 20:36:40
Hi,
it seems results for analysis are remembered, but any scan result is forgotten after stop > start.
Is that correct?
Regards, Martin

After starting again all results cleared - you restart scanning, to temporary stop use pause button.

Program is inconsistent in remembering previous data after new start: Comparison results are discarded, analysis data are kept. The latter may be sometimes favorable but it may clutter the analysis window in other cases. The only way I found to get rid of them is to start an analysis run and immediately stop it thereafter.
I'd like to have a reset button for analysis data similar to that for the cache.
The same applies to ignore data (files marked to be ignored). A reset button for that is a much cleaner way than to delete an ignore file somewhere in Microsoft's program data jungle.

We "clear results/analysis" menu and "clear ignores" in options.

Sorry, but what do you mean with "We "clear results/analysis" menu and "clear ignores" in options."
There is no option similar to that?!?
Could you spend a bit more details than just one sentence?

Sorry, we add "clear results"/"clear analysis" to context menu and top menu and "clear ignores" in options dialog.
