Similarity doesn't specially designed for video files, but you can force it to compare audio stream in video files, to do so you need to uncheck "Skip video files" in Options and enable DirectShow decoder in Decoders tab of Options dialog.

Hm, it's text file "ignores.list" located in "%appdata%\Similarity" folder, just open it in some Notepad.

Sorry, but I can't imagine how to do so, I can imagine about deleting empty folders (they rarely will be empty always have some stupid album images), but how to delete full folder in automark ? By what criterion ?

Bugs / Re: Deleting files: no safety question if one of the files was already deleted

Similarity firstly tries to delete all files by scope, if it fails it start deleting each file one by one. Similarity logs all errors in it log files (%appdata%\Similarity\logs folder). Why do you need to such specific behaviour for mass files, as I understand to skip deletion if one file fails ?

Similarity isn't open source, we only specially design console/library tools for specific comparision algorthm, but not in main Similarity project. More details by email support@similarityapp.com

Similarity can't unselect folder, only select, this's technical issue. If parent folder selected, chids selected too. We think about easy solution.

Just try to decrease sliders with thresholds or diable some algorithms in Automark dialog.
